TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By making a booking you accept these terms and conditions:

Booking Information

  • Caddyshacks Gullane provides sleeping accommodation for up to 8 people maximum.
  • A fully-refundable 50% deposit will be charged at the time of booking, the remaining balance is payable not less than 30 days before check-in.
    • Failure to pay the deposit or balance of the booking fee in full by the due date will constitute a cancellation of the booking.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of check-in must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • A £150 cleaning fee will be applied per stay.

Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for the amount received (in £) up to 30 days before check-in.
  • 50% refund for the amount received (in £) up to 7 days before check-in.
  • No refund within 7 days of check-in. 

Cancellation by the Owner 

Caddyshacks Ltd will endeavour to ensure that the property is available for the dates booked. In the unlikely event the property becomes unavailable and the booking has to be cancelled, Caddyshacks Ltd will provide a full refund. Caddyshacks Ltd shall only be liable to return monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.

Use of the property 

  • Check-in after 3pm, check-out before 11am
  • The Property shall be used as a holiday let only and for no other purpose. Events are not permitted.
  • All guests shall act in a courteous and considerate manner in respect of their use of the property throughout the stay. Caddyshacks Ltd is entitled to insist that guests leave the property without any refund if the behaviour is unacceptable and/or the house rules are not followed..

Property Condition

  • No smoking is allowed in the Property at any time.
  • Guests will make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at arrival. Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported to the Caddyshacks Ltd prior to the end of the stay.
  • Guests shall be liable to Caddyshacks Ltd for any loss, costs, expenses or claims arising from any damage caused to the property and/or its fixtures and fittings and/or its contents by the deliberate, willful, negligent, or reckless act or omission of the guests (excepting fair wear and tear and minor breakages at the discretion of Caddyshacks Ltd). If, as a result of such damage, the property and/or its fixtures and fittings and/or any of its contents need to be repaired or replaced, the guest shall be responsible for reimbursing Caddyshacks Ltd reasonable costs of doing so.
  • Caddyshacks Ltd reserves the right to enter the property at any reasonable time on giving 24 hours notice (and at any time without notice in the case of an emergency) to inspect the property and the guest is in compliance with these terms and conditions.

Complaints

All complaints must first be referred to Caddyshacks Ltd during the stay to allow remedial action to be taken (if required/necessary). It is essential that you contact Caddyshacks Ltd immediately if any problem arises so that it may be resolved as soon as reasonably practicable. In no circumstances can compensation be claimed for complaints raised only after check-out should the guest fail to advise the Caddyshacks Ltd during the stay.

Data Protection Act 2018

The guest agrees that information requested by or provided to Caddyshacks Ltd for the purposes of the booking will only be used by Caddyshacks Ltd in accordance with the data protection principles, and for the purpose of the booking and the provision of any services connected thereto. The guest acknowledges that Caddyshacks Ltd is entitled to pass the information to third parties where required to do so by law.
